Heute soll die Reihe „Tipps f\u00fcr Hausarbeiten<\/a>“ fortgesetzt werden. In letzter Zeit f\u00e4llt mir bei der Korrektur von Haus- und Seminararbeiten immer wieder auf, dass im Literaturverzeichnis – und auch in den Fu\u00dfnoten – zahlreiche Namen falsch geschrieben werden. Dar\u00fcber kann man dann schon einmal stolpern. Zitieren m\u00f6chte ich hier keine konkreten „Stilbl\u00fcten“, weil diese dann im Einzelnen doch schon zu kreativ, pers\u00f6nlich und individuell sind. Also insoweit: Schutz der Privatsph\u00e4re :-).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im digitalen Zeitalter gibt es zur Vermeidung von solchen Tippfehlern eine ganz einfache L\u00f6sung, die offensichtlich aber noch nicht hinreichend verbreitet ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Wenn ohnehin – praktischerweise – \u00fcberwiegend mit digitalen Quellen gearbeitet wird, k\u00f6nnen die Namen der Autoren einfach aus der Datenbank kopiert werden (STRG C -> STRG V :-)). Auf diese Weise ist ausgeschlossen, dass bei der \u00dcbernahme von Namen Tippfehler eingebaut werden. Es kommt zwar auch vor, dass Namen schon in den Datenbanken falsch geschrieben werden (vgl. dazu zum Beispiel den Beitrag hier im Blog „Kann man noch jemandem trauen? Kindgreen oder Kingreen?<\/a>„). Aber das d\u00fcrfte eher eine Seltenheit sein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn man mit digitalen Quellen nicht auskommt und doch die ein oder andere analoge Quelle verarbeiten m\u00f6chte, sollte man sich immer wieder vor Augen f\u00fchren, dass beim Abtippen von Namen Fehler auftauchen k\u00f6nnen. Deshalb sollte man hier nach dem Abtippen von Namen dann noch einmal genau \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen, ob man sich m\u00f6glicherweise vertippt hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nat\u00fcrlich kann man sagen, dass eine falsche Namensnennung keinen schwerwiegenden Fehler darstellt. Es handelt sich aber – dar\u00fcber wird man nicht streiten k\u00f6nnen – um einen Fehler. Und deshalb sollte man Strategien entwickeln, um solche Fehler zu vermeiden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
